How should we handle local disputes in the Church? - The Whole Church Podcast

Episode 223

How should we handle local disputes in the Church?

Back with another Round Table discussion, Joshua Noel and TJ (Tiberius Juan) Blackwell are joined by Christian Ashley (of Let Nothing Move You), Will Rose (of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church), Elizabeth (Pang) Clyde (of Faith Church), and Nathan Gilmour (of the Christian Humanist Project)! This time we will be discussing how churches should handle local disputes, what kind of disputes are most prevalent in our churches, and how to address these issues before they come to a tipping point in our own churches!

What causes most church splits? What do you do when your church splits? What is it called when a church splits? How to deal with disputes in church? What does the Bible say about disagreements in the church? What is an example of a church conflict? What are the main causes of conflict in church? What destroys unity in the church?

In this episode, we will:

  • Discuss the most common church disputes that we have seen
  • Examine the underlying issues behind some of the disputes we've heard of
  • Deconstruct why churches spilt
  • Address how we should handle ourselves in the midst of conflict

Offering Plate

We may not be huge fans of the pressure that goes along with a literal offering plate, but we do hope you will consider giving to our ministry so we can afford to continue our work to educate and unite the Church!
We haven’t had any Tips yet :( Maybe you could be the first!
