How Can We Disagree in Charity? (w/ Dr Russell D. Moore) - The Whole Church Podcast

Episode 116

How Can We Disagree in Charity? (w/ Dr Russell D. Moore)

We are joined by Dr Russell D. Moore in this episode to discuss his transition from serving as president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the public-policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), and at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, as dean of the School of Theology, to now serving as director of Christianity Today's Public Theology Project. We discuss how we can disagree with others in the Church without losing unity and how transitioning into new ministries does not need to create any divisions. Dr Moore also discusses the meaning of unity and the usefulness of Church creeds.

Joshua Noel

I am from Knoxville, TN. Grew up in Florida and Charlotte, NC. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies, am preparing to attend Law School at the University of South Carolina, have co-hosted "The Whole Church Podcast" with my best friend TJ Blackwell for four years, and I have been involved in local ministries for 15 years now. I'm pretty huge into hermeneutics, U.S. Constitutional Law, and Biblical theology, and my favorite TV show is "Doctor Who".

Offering Plate

We may not be huge fans of the pressure that goes along with a literal offering plate, but we do hope you will consider giving to our ministry so we can afford to continue our work to educate and unite the Church!
