How Can Data Unite Us? (w/ Alyce Youngblood) - The Whole Church Podcast

Episode 109

How Can Data Unite Us? (w/ Alyce Youngblood)

We discuss the importance that the Barna Group plays in the whole Church today. Alyce Youngblood, Vice President of Editorial for the Barna Group joins us to discuss what they do and how seeing the numbers and data behind the variety of beliefs in the Church can help us find commonalities and come together for the first tier issues more easily. We ask her what areas the Church most agreed with one another, most disagreed, and what areas she found most surprising in their research. We discuss everything from the Church's view on CRT (Critical Race Theory), to salvation, to the beliefs Gen Z shares!

Joshua Noel

I am from Knoxville, TN. Grew up in Florida and Charlotte, NC. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies, am preparing to attend Law School at the University of South Carolina, have co-hosted "The Whole Church Podcast" with my best friend TJ Blackwell for four years, and I have been involved in local ministries for 15 years now. I'm pretty huge into hermeneutics, U.S. Constitutional Law, and Biblical theology, and my favorite TV show is "Doctor Who".

Offering Plate

We may not be huge fans of the pressure that goes along with a literal offering plate, but we do hope you will consider giving to our ministry so we can afford to continue our work to educate and unite the Church!
