Ep 75 - Israel, the Church, and Race - The Whole Church Podcast

Episode 75

Ep 75 - Israel, the Church, and Race

Your co-hosts, Joshua and TJ, discuss God's promise to Abram in Genesis 12. We trace the religious arrogance of the Israelites in the Bible to the religious and national arrogance of parts of the Church throughout history. We consider the arguments in Israel's role now, comparing replacement theology and dispensationalism. We even look the "filioque" clause and how the Church's arrogance has led to splits in the past and how we can reconcile now. Our co-hosts then wrap it up by discussing their favorite black Church leaders or theologians in recognition of black history month.

We may not be huge fans of the pressure that goes along with a literal offering plate, but we do hope you will consider giving to our ministry so we can afford to continue our work to educate and unite the Church!
